Sunday, September 7th, 1980: Crouch Tames Storm 8-3, 15 Ks
Marcus Crouch of the Homer Yetis was something to behold at Kachemak Bay. He was on fire and fanned 15 Storm en route to a 8-3 victory. Crouch shackled St. Louis on 6 hits and gave up 2 walks in an outstanding performance.

"That's as good as I've ever seen him throw," his manager said. "I've never seen so many bad swings in my life. These guys didn't have a chance."

Crouch had very little to say to after the game. "We won and that's the bottom line. I had a good game. And we beat St. Louis."

The St. Louis manager wasn't too happy with the game. "He pitched a very good game. You have to tip your cap to him."

To this point in the season Crouch has 15 wins and 5 losses and a 4.44 ERA.

This year Hutchins has a 15-3 record and a 3.46 ERA.
