Happy times in Bradford as the Bulls and star catcher Mike Vaughn put the finishing touches on a $60,070,000 contract extension that will keep the 29-year-old in town 4 years longer.
The signing is great news for Bradford because players of this caliber are hard to come by.
This season Vaughn has hit at a .286 clip and produced 58 RBIs, 9 home runs and 74 runs scored.

 | Tuesday, September 27th, 1977: Anderson Pitches Gem against New Glarus
Before the game Ted Anderson liked his chances and his instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing the Bulls pitcher whitewashed the New Glarus Brewmasters 5-0.
Anderson said in the clubhouse afterward, "I just had a feeling it was going to be my day. My control was awesome. I could throw my curveball even when I was behind in the count."
The Bradford starter held New Glarus scoreless, giving up 5 hits while registering 7 strikeouts and issuing no walks.
"We didn't have very many good at-bats," the Brewmasters manager said in his postgame interview.
"When that happens, you usually lose."
This season Anderson has compiled a 18-16 mark with a 3.45 ERA in 40 starts.

Opting to stay with what he knows, Leo Enos signed an extension with the Bulls earlier today that will keep the 27-year-old in a Bradford uniform for at least 3 years longer.
Enos is poised to earn $11,123,333 per year and is loved by diehards for his loyalty to the organization.
Up to this point in the 1977 season, Enos has fashioned a 1-7 won-lost mark, made 53 relief appearances and rung up 28 saves. He has a 2.26 ERA and has allowed 48 hits over his 55.2 innings of work, struck out 68 batters and walked 10.
