| Breaking News |  | Tuesday, June 7th, 1977: Lightning Chill Bosquet's Hot Streak Buzz second baseman Osvaldo Bosquet was one of the hottest hitters in baseball, coming into today's game against Latrobe with a 23-game hitting streak. However, the Lightning put a chill in his bat, at least for today, and held him hitless in 4 at-bats during the Latrobe 5-4 triumph at Terrapin Station.
Bosquet is hitting .325 this year with 4 home runs, 22 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 40 hits in 123 at-bats, 10 walks and a .373 on-base percentage. Bosquet has played in 31 games. |  | Wednesday, June 1st, 1977: Mundell May's Best Bat Choice May was a good month for Brendan Mundell. The Latrobe first baseman had his way with opposing pitchers all month while posting a .380 batting average and was selected as the Mays League Batter of the Month.
Last month Mundell put up some solid numbers: 10 home runs, 25 RBIs, 17 runs scored and a .438 on-base percentage.
