    Just an FYI on ootp2009

Seems you can now purchase through Steam for 29.99 also. Haven't gotten it yet myself, though. Just saw the ad pop up on the Steam client yesterday.

Purchased the game through Steam, I have to say I don't like the way they make you use the Steam interface to install the product.  But I have it.  I wonder what my license number is for a second install?  Anyone know where to find that in Steam?

If it's like the other games on Steam, you have to be logged into your account. Since it's on Steam, you probably have to be connected to the internet in order to play the game. You should be able to install it on as many computers as you want, but you can only access the game on one computer at a time.

I don't think you have to be connected to Steam to play a game unless it's strictly a MP game. I know I lost my connection for days and could still start and play Football Manager 2009 which I got through Steam. Just comes up with a box asking if you want to play offline or something.
