I knew that blurb couldn't be good..

what else could be a "shocking result"?

man.  I can't say that's not disappointing.  I think that's the first time ALL SEASON that my team has lost 3 in a row.  I think it might be tough to find back to back losses.  Not sure what happened.  5 runs from Facer in 6+ was not the pitching performance i was expecting.

hell, I had 3 20 game winners this season.

ah well.  Good series St. Louis.  You better at least go on to win the whole thing.

You certainly were the last team I wanted to meet in the playoffs.  I knew it would be a tough series, and thought for sure it would goto 5 games figuring you would throw in Facer in game 4, who is far superior to Savino (which is probably an understatement).  I got the better of this series, which serves as redemption from being eliminated by South Beach last year.  I remember aroudn this time last year rooting for you guys to win after suffering defeat from you.  We'll see if Storm can pull stay hot and make something happen this year.

On the bright side for South Beach, Benavidas looks to be the favorite for Hitter of the year (breaking Badillo's 2 year streak), Facer is the favorite for Pitcher of the year, and Kingston is still averaging around a .350 from refusing contract negotiation from Storm 3 years ago (grrr).

Anyway, good series.  South Beach had a crazy good season.
