Congrats to the New York Empire for winning it all in 1976.  I thought this could've been Storm's year, but you cruised through the world series, winning it in 5 games.  Good managing all year.

Thanks Shockz!  I was really surprised by the outcome of this series - I thought it was going to be close, and that you'd win in six or seven.  I managed to get some pretty good pitching performances, and a different collection of batters every game, and it was enough.  It may be NY's last hurrah - my best pitcher is getting pretty old, and the rest of my team is advancing in age, too.  I have to decide soon whether I have enough to push for the playoffs again next year or rebuild while I have some guys of value.

Your team looks to be in pretty good shape for next season.  Congrats on a great year for the Storm - just knocking off South Beach in the playoffs was a huge accomplishment!

you know, i think Caelon likes to play the underdog.  I've heard him say for 3 or 4 years in a row that he thinks this is his last hurrah.  I'm not going to believe it until I see him with 6 first round picks after the firesale :)
