What Makes Someone a Possible Free Agent After the Current Season?

Check your roster (Salary Report on the league site) to see who your potential Free Agents will be next season, and email me a list of players you'd like to negotiate with.

Your salary report will say the following things for players:

    • Free agent after this season! - You'll need to decide whether you want to try and negotiate with this guy and add him to your list.
    • Arbitration (Estimate: $x) - Younger guy who's salary will largely be decided by his success in the league so far.
    • Arbitration (Estimate: $x), could become Free Agent with XX more days of service this year. - This guy will become a free agent after XX days of service (regular season, not offseason). If he will be, you need to add him to the list you want to negotatiate with if you plan to try and keep him.
    • Automatic Resign. - On contract next season.
    • Minor League FA next year! - If you don't add him to your 40 man roster, you'll lose him to FA next season.
