He didn't offer any guidance.  He's having a bad year and had significant declines in his ratings.  I'd like to offer 1 year, $2M.

Alright, this sucks, because Cruz isn't looking like he's going to be any good, but I'm pretty concerned that there won't be much depth (again) at SS in the FA market.  Let's try $2.85M for 2 years.  If he doesn't accept that, I'm going to need some help, because that was more than he was asking for earlier in the year, before he started having some ratings declines.
