Let's say I sign free agents this year and stay just under the salary cap. Next year some of my guys get more money from arbitration. Can I go over the salary cap like this? Some players could be going from $300,000 to big money over the next few years. So this is something I'm wondering about.

Good question, moving it to FAQs.
I think how that works out is that you'll have to get back under the cap. Arbitration can push you over the cap, and then you'll have to do what it takes to get back under the cap.
