Steam updated OOTP 9 without giving me a choice.  Emrys, please let me know if the file I exported works.

Same here. Steam does push out the updates immediately without the option to disable updates AFAIK (but I will check to see if there is an option somewhere.) I also exported a file. Also, I think I made a mistake in that I made an offer to a single FA, submitted the file with my other changes, and then remembered that I maybe shouldn't have made the offer yet. Not sure anymore, TTTT.

Edit: I just looked into Steam and you can turn off the auto-updates. Do the following:

Steam -> Games -> right click on OOTP in Steam window and choose "properties" -> Second tab is "Updates" -> change setting from automatically update game to do not automatically update the game

That should prevent it. No help for the removing the last update though just any coming down the pike.

i dunno anything about steam, but i'm pretty sure we are NOT supposed to be making FA offers yet.  There's a specific time frame for that so it's fair to everyone.

I'm just going to d/l the leage file zip and redo my edits for rule 5 draft and resubmit it. SHould be fine that way w/o the mistake FA offer I made.

Ok, error fixed and new file w/o offer uploaded. Now to see if the file can even be loaded by Emrys, but then again, wouldn't be a big deal for my team if not since I have no rule V eligible players who need protection.

Yep, your files imported fine.

For the most part, the version you're using doesn't matter as much as the one I am. Don't worry about Steam keeping you up to date. There won't be that many patches anyway.
