SP Phenom Prospect Available ... Thomas Gomez
OSA rates SP Thomas Gomez an 8/8/10 with 93-95mph speed and 60% GBs.
Should be a great pitcher for someone and at 20 years old for a long time to come. Great upside, ready to pitch now whereas my team is not.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
SP Veteran Stud All-Star HOF material ... Bill Redwine
Redwine is a great pitcher, you can put him at the top of your rotation with no worries. He gives up very few homers and keeps runners off the basepads. OSA rates him 6/7/9 but my scout puts him at 7/10/10. In final year of his contract so will serve someone very well this season during what is sure to be a contract drive.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another Phenom SP Available - 26 year old Andrew MacFarland
OSA rates MacFarland an 8/6/9 with 94-96mph speed.
Another great phenom for a team who is rebuilding their young clubs, again ready to pitch now whereas my team is not ready to compete yet and will waste his eligibility.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
24 year old pitcher Joe Warren
OSA rates him 7/8/6 who throws in the high 80s low 90s.
Great option for a MR ready to emerge out of AAA to the majors.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shutdown 21 year old Closer Jeffrey Taylor
OSA rates him 7/9/8 and throws heat in the 93-95mph range. Projects to be a dominant closer.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Good young catcher prospect Rob Leftwich
OSA rates him 7/4/6 who works hard, plays the field well with a good arm and a knack for getting on base. Projects to be a starting catcher in the next season or so.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Veteran power hitter / middle infielder Clifford Buchanan
OSA rates him 8/7/3 with baserunning skills ... he's stuck behind a few of my positional players and would be better suited to a starting job somewhere. Signed to a very reasonable deal at 1.9M per year.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Good veteran infielder Jeffery Buteau
OSA rates him 8/4/7, again stuck behind my starters who are rated slightly better.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stud veteran / all-star OFer Takasuye
This guy has the power and the bat to back it up. OSA rates him 7/9/3, punches in 25+ HRs a year signed to cheap $6.75M through 77 with team option for 1978.

What am I looking for?
-Draft picks, draft picks, draft picks
-Young prospects who are a year or two off
-Deals that make sense for the team/value
Most others could be had depending on the offers, but I'd like to at least field a team this season too even if it turns out to be a bunch of rookies :)
