NY mulling over trading 3B Sorensen

I'm considering trying to move 3B James Sorensen and go a different direction, trying to get a bit younger.  He's been a legend in NY, a five time all-star who has hit an average of 30 HRs over the past six years.  He's popular, and under a reasonable contract, and he's only 32 years old.  There are two reasons I am moving him.  First is that he is not a good defensive 3B, and I'd like to upgrade my defense there.  Second, even though he's only 32, his ratings leveled off a bit last year, so I think it is time for me to start finding a replacement for him.  With his power numbers, he certainly could flirt with 30 homers again, and if he regains some of the contact ratings he lost last year (talent hasn't decreased), I'll probably lose out on any trade.

What am I looking for in return?  I'm pretty flexible.  I would take a draft pick, or a mid-level prospect (preferably one that isn't ready for the majors yet).  For a team with cap space (Sorensen is a $5-6 mil player with his contract), Sorensen could be a decent player with his current ratings, and if he manages to recover a point or two in contact, he'd be back to the all-star 30+ HR 100+ RBI guy he's been the past six years.

I'd really like to not take on much, if any, salary on this trade, so keep that in mind.  I'm too close to the cap for my comfort level, and I'm trying to get a bit of cap space so I can sign a guy or two to help my bullpen...

PM me and/or email me if interested...
